Psalm 116
12 How can I
repay the LORD
for all his goodness to me?
13 I will
lift up the cup of salvation
and call on the name of the LORD.
This is an amazing thing indeed! How can
we repay
the LORD for all HIS
goodness! Well, we can allow HIS
work on the Cross to be the center-point of our lives! And
we can call on HIM when we
need help.
Basically we can allow HIM
to be our Servant. Whoa! I know, you are thinking
"Blasphemy!" But give me the next thirty seconds
to explain. I have kids. And one of the things
I love is to do things for them! I love to get
them food or a drink. I love to help them when they are in
need. I love to hurt for them if I can, so that they won't
hurt. I am a daddy! HE
is the Perfect Daddy! Our hearts cry, "Abba, FATHER!"
Abba is like "da-da" in English. It is child-speak
for father. So, can you take a moment to love on HIM
and thank HIM for all HIS
goodness? The best way to thank HIM
is found above . . . Salvation in your life and
calling on HIM for all our
needs!
