entrance into eternity (the Ultimate Victory).

Samuel 8:6
He put garrisons in the Aramean kingdom of Damascus, and the Arameans became
subject to him and brought tribute. The LORD gave David victory
wherever he went.

Without question, King David was
the greatest king Israel has ever seen, especially when it comes
to battle. If you read the entire chapter of 2 Samuel 8, you
see a bit of why he was held in such high esteem.
Everyone loves a winner!
Especially if that winner is keeping you safe from all invading
foes.
There are two things we can see
in this picture. First,
David was described as a "man after GOD'S
own heart." This means he was like his GOD.
The LORD is great in battle
and never loses. HE is
the ultimate warrior on our behalf. And
secondly, David sought after the LORD.
He was focused on HIM and knew
that ALL his battles were the LORD'S
battles. Yes, David fought them, but as he kept his eyes on HIM,
he won every battle through the LORD'S
Power. And we are exactly
the same, to one extent or the other. As we focus on HIM,
we release the tremendous power of GOD
into our lives to bring the Victory. It is HIS
battle when we invite HIM in,
and we can never fail. So,
the path to Victory is always the JESUS
Path! Keep your eyes on HIM
and HE will produce HIS
Victory in our lives every time!
