will be talking for a while about Victory over this life's system and our
entrance into eternity (the Ultimate Victory).

Samuel 8:9-10
When Tou king of Hamath heard that David had defeated the
entire army of Hadadezer, he sent his son Joram to King David to greet him and congratulate him on his
victory in battle over Hadadezer, who had been at war with Tou. Joram
brought with him articles of silver and gold and bronze.

You can't give up. That is
the message of the Gospel to you, the follower of JESUS.
You may be struggling with all your might or even half your might,
but no matter how things appear, you can't give up. See,
it's like this. Battle makes you strong. In the
non-spiritual battles of this world, men fight men over property,
power, people, etc. The winner is always the side who never
quits. In our Spiritual
Struggle, the Winner is always JESUS!
And those who follow HIM win
too. Just like David, who was invincible in battle, so is
our LORD. David was a
portrait in effect of JESUS.
When we see David fiercely fitting and winning over every foe, we
see a picture of JESUS who has
already defeated satan and the armies of darkness who attempt to
inflict trouble upon the LORD'S
people. And just as the
people of Israel were in victory when David was in victory, so are
we, the people of GOD! So,
relax a bit today. You may not see the way clear, but if you
trust in HIM, HE
will pull you through every trial, every setback, every attack,
every snare that the enemy throws your way. You will reap
the rewards of Victory if you just don't quit!
